Wheel chair users
- Camp Vught National Memorial and Barracks 1B are wheelchair accessible. The exhibitions are at floor level. The entrance door and the door to the outside area open automatically. There are some doors for which another person might be helpful.
- There is a lift from the ground floor to the auditorium; our desk staff will gladly accompany you to the lift during public events.
- There are facilities that allow wheelchair users to independently follow the outdoor route.
- Both in the museum and Barracks 1B is a disabled toilet on the ground floor. There are no sanitary facilities in the outdoor area.
- You can borrow a wheelchair in the museum and Barracks 1B; just ask the desk staff. You can also call during opening hours to reserve a wheelchair: 073 6566764.
- People accompanying wheelchair users have free entry if desired. Please report this to the reception desk after arrival.
- Guidance and assistance dogs are welcome.
Visitors with hearing impairments
- The films in the permanent exhibition are subtitled in Dutch and English. The text boards explaining the history in the buildings in the outdoor area are also in Dutch and English.
- Visitors with hearing impairments can use an induction loop to listen to the audio tour via their own hearing aid.
- Visiting a film or lecture? The auditorium has also induction loops.
- People accompanying visitors with hearing impairments have free access if desired. Please report this to the reception desk after arrival.

Visitors with visual impairments
- There is an audio tour for adults and an audio tour junior 'Behind barbed wire' for visitors from 10 years (included in the entrance fee).

Parking
- You can find free parking spaces in front of the main building; there is also a parking space for visitors with a disabled parking card. You can park on the ground floor of the parking garage too. We share the parking spaces and the parking garage with the penitentiary (PI Vught).
- Buses can drop off groups in front of the building and then turn around via the bus trap. The parking spaces for buses are located after the pavement.
- In front of the main building are bike racks and six charging stations for cyclists with an e-bike.
- Near Barracks 1B (Atlantis 1B, 500 metres from the main building) are eight parking spaces plus a charging station with space for two electric cars.
Further informatiion
- For those who cannot stand for a long time; it is possible to take a foldable museum stool with you during your visit. You will find the stools in the reception hall before visiting the introductory film of the permanent exhibition.
- There are no special facilities for a low incentive visit. In the first large room of the permanent exhibition is the lighting in different colours and the room is dark.
