They will be given a colourful “photo album” and there will be activities to do along the way. The junior audio tour has been designed for visitors aged between 10 and 12. Dutch and English versions are available. Adults can take their own audio tour.
Young visitors will hear stories about children their own age. Why did Tanneke and Hans and their parents end up in Camp Vught? And what happened to the Jewish children Lotty, George and Ursula? Visitors will also hear stories about children who became involved with Camp Vught in a different way, such as young Will from Vught.
Because Camp Vught National Memorial is keen to maintain the title 'Kidsproof'- museum, as part of an initiative of the Dutch Museums Association we ask our young visitors who take the junior audio tour to act as Museum Inspectors (short survey available in Dutch). Young visitors will receive a small souvenir at the end of their visit.
